Enhancing Meta’s Job Portal & Cross-Platform Experiences
This project focused on improving Meta’s job portal experience and supporting new features for Facebook Podcasts. I worked across design, research, and engineering to create prototypes, run user testing, and build responsive, accessible interfaces for both web and mobile. My work helped accelerate testing cycles, streamline handoff, and deliver platform-ready assets for multiple Meta surfaces.

Project Overview
During my time at Meta, I contributed to multiple product teams focusing on improving the Meta Job Portal experience, Facebook Podcasts, and cross-platform marketing assets. My work centered on prototyping, user testing, mobile UX, developer collaboration, and delivering high-quality design assets used across Meta’s ecosystem.
Users
Job seekers
Problem
Meta’s internal job portal and related experience pages needed:
Faster and more efficient testing workflows
Higher accessibility and smoother navigation on mobile
Clearer communication between design and engineering
Platform-specific marketing assets for Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and Instagram
Documentation that reduced ambiguity during developer handoff
The team needed a designer who could bridge the gap between product, engineering, and marketing while improving design quality and execution speed.
Process
1. Research & Discovery
Identified major accessibility issues, navigation challenges, and inconsistencies across the job portal experience.
Gathered insights that directed iterative improvements and mobile-first enhancements.
Key Insight: Users needed simpler flows with clearer visual hierarchy, faster access to job actions, and better readability.
2. Prototyping & Iteration
Built high-fidelity product prototypes in Figma to validate new ideas quickly.
Increased testing efficiency by creating reusable prototype components and flows.
Used Figma annotations extensively to document interactions, transitions, and logic for engineering clarity.
Result: Faster test cycles + fewer misunderstandings during handoff.
3. Mobile Experience Design
Designed and tested mobile layouts for the Meta Job Portal, focusing on:
Accessibility
Simplified navigation
Responsive layout behavior
Clear action pathways
Ensured consistent experiences across iOS and Android.
Impact: Improved mobile usability and reduced friction for internal job seekers.
4. Feature Launch Collaboration
Partnered with marketing and engineering to help launch three new features for the job portal.
My contribution included:
Wireframes and user flows
Mobile + desktop prototypes
Design QA support
Developer-ready assets and specifications
5. Facebook Podcasts Design Work
Designed wireframes and interactive prototypes for Facebook Podcasts experiences.
Created UX flows exploring discovery, episode interaction, and playback.
6. Developer Handoff & Documentation
Streamlined engineering handoff by providing detailed component documentation and interaction notes.
Facilitated better cross-team understanding of design intent through annotated flows and async reviews.
Outcome:
Fewer iteration cycles + faster implementation time.
